This course will review the nervous system as well as discuss the symptoms of anxiety and its neurological contributions. The function of the nervous system can be facilitated by nutritional foundations and we will review a few of the general foundations, therapies, & techniques in management COURSE OUTLINE Symptoms, diagnoses, and conventional treatment of anxiety disorders. Review of neurons & general neuroanatomy. Brainwaves and neurotransmitter relationship. Neurotransmitters and their role in anxiety disorders. Sympathetic, parasympathetic contributions, and vagal nerve contributions in anxiety disorders. Nutrient precursors to neurotransmitters. Food and nutrient foundations for anxiety management. Developing a tool box of holistic activities to assist in the management of anxiety.
