COURSE OBJECTIVE: To study the neuro-immune system function as it relates to empirical and mechanistic perspectives in health and disease. This module provides an overview of vaccines.
COURSE OUTLINE:
• Epidemiological evidence reveals that not only was the
smallpox vaccine useless at protecting people from
developing smallpox, but that:
• it caused deadly smallpox epidemics.
• is linked to tuberculosis, heart disease, syphilis and
cancer.
• is possibly linked to other chronic illnesses.
