Description

TECAR therapy, transfer of energy capacitive and resistive, is an emerging technology in healthcare and has broad application. Considered the NexGen of manual therapy in the United States, TECAR has been a standard of care in Europe for decades. This course is a primer in the physics of TECAR therapy and its therapeutic effects in the management of pain, rehabilitation, performance enhancement and wellness. While primarily directed to the clinician new to TECAR therapy, the course will offer clinical insights for current users to obtain improved outcomes. Clinical application will be presented with videos to enable the clinician to implement TECAR immediately for pain management, sub-acute and rehabilitative care. Integration of TECAR with CMT, other modalities and active care will be presented along with an introduction of its use in the wellness and aesthetic space.
