Description

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing chiropractors with the information regarding the diagnosis and treatment of patients dealing with acute and chronic stress.  This course will review the work of Hans Selye and the General Adaptation Syndrome and help chiropractors understand the role of stress dysfunction and problems seen in a chiropractic practice. Course Outline Hour 1 Describe how stress impacts overall health and well-being. What can go wrong and clinical pearls for the practicing chiropractor in managing these patients. Hour 2 Review the testing of adrenal hormones in saliva and present nutritional strategies, ie diet, supplementation, exercise for the management of these patients.
