Our bodies face a daily challenge of dealing with an environment laden with chemicals. These chemicals are found either in the air we breathe, the water we drink and in the food we eat. Estimates are that this may number over 3800, of which only a small percentage have been studied. This burden needs to be eliminated in order to prevent immune, endocrine and musculoskeletal system dysfunction.
About the presenter:Howard Benedikt, DC, DCBCN is a practicing chiropractor with over 45 years of clinical practice. He did his undergraduate work at Queens College, Flushing, New York and then went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. His Master of Science in Nutrition is from the C.W. Post College of Long Island University. He holds Diplomate status from the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition and serves on their executive committee. He chairs the nutrition education committee of the CBCN. Dr. Benedikt has taught nutrition at the college level and is a on the Post graduate faculty at Parker Chiropractic and Life University. Dr. Benedikt has a clinical practice in New York and is passionate about the role of chiropractic and nutrition in helping his patients achieve their highest level of well-being.
