[video width="1116" height="624"][/video] CERVICOGENIC HEADACHES - Credit Hours: 2Clinical This course reviews the clinical presentation of cervicogenic headache, proposed diagnostic criteria, pathophysiologic mechanisms, and methods of diagnostic evaluation. Guidelines for developing a successful multidisciplinary pain management program using medication, physical therapy, osteopathic manipulative treatment, other non pharmacologic modes of treatment, and anesthetic interventions are also presented. TENSION TYPE HEADACHES - Credit Hours: 2Clinical This course will review the basic principles of the etiology of tension type headaches. We will also focus on the evaluation and treatment of patients suffering with this condition. TRIGGER POINT THERAPY - Credit Hours: 2Clinical This course will review the basic principles of trigger point therapy. We will focus on the theory and application of these procedures for myofascial release. Specific muscle referred pain patterns will be demonstrated as well as treatment procedures and adjunctive stretches UNDERSTANDING WHIPLASH PART 1 - Credit Hours: 2Clinical This course will detail the biomechanics of low speed rear impact collisions. This includes discussions on the S shaped curve of the spine, general magnitudes of force, factors associated with increased risk of injury and the types of injuries that result from these collisions. UNDERSTANDING WHIPLASH PART 2 - Credit Hours: 2Clinical Part 2 of this series will focus on specific conditions and symptoms related to whiplash type injuries. Some of the conditions we will discuss include: the etiology of neck pain and headache, radiculopathy, TOS, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, post-concussive syndrome, and TMJ
