Research has recently shown that there is a connection between sleep and gut-
brain axis (GBA) communication. Also, people who suffer with altered sleep cycles
often have altered gut microbiomes. Since the gut microbiome communicates
with many systems of the body the question that has been asked is can alteration
in the microbiome impact these systems and hence affect sleep.

This leads to the possibility of creating strategies that impact both immune,
endocrine, nervous system and sleep disorders.

This webinar will investigate and give understanding to the connection between
the GBA, sleep and neuro-immune networks. The clinician will walk away with a
better understanding of these communications as well as a better understanding
of how the microbiome influences sleep.
