CONDITIONS OF THE DISC PART 1 - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This course will begin with a detailed discussion on the functional anatomy of the disc. This will include disc innervation, disc nutrition and structural composition. The course will continue with a discussion on the basic interpretation of MRI.

CONDITIONS OF THE DISC PART 2 - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This course will begin with a short review of the basic aspects of MRI. The discussion will then continue with a detailed analysis of disc herniations and normal disc aging.

CONDITIONS OF THE DISC PART 3 - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This is the last installment of a three part series. It will include a review of normal disc aging, a discussion on the differences between normal disc aging and degenerative disc disease, internal disc disruptions, and nerve in growth.

FUNCTION BASED CARE PART 1 - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This course is designed to instruct physicians on the basic principles of function based care. It will include a discussion on how to demonstrate medical necessity for function based care, how to perform physical capacity tests, and how to prescribe specific exercises related to the patient's ability to perform those tests.

FUNCTION BASED CARE PART 2 - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

Part 2 of Function Based Care picks up with Neuromuscular Re-education. In this course we will discuss the theory of this treatment as well as how to demonstrate medical necessity for these exercises. This course will also discuss stretching exercises and postural correction exercises.

NEUROPLASTICITY PART 1: A BASIC OVERVIEW - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with an evidence based review of the theory of neuroplasticity and how its effect on our nervous system. This course will provide Chiropractors with information on the theory of neuroplasticity.

NEUROPLASTICITY PART 2: BRAINWAVES ARE A WINDOW TO THE BRAIN - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with an evidence based review of the role of brain wave patterns in the process of creating neoplastic changes.  This course will provide Chiropractors with information on brain wave patterns and neuroplasticity.

NEUROPLASTICITY PART 3: THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with an evidence-based review of the role of role of sleep in the process of creating neuroplastic changes. This course will provide Chiropractors with information on role of sleep and neuroplasticity.

NEUROPLASTICITY PART 4: THE EFFECTS OF SUBLUXATION AND STRESS ON THE BRAIN - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with an evidence-based review of the role of role of subluxation and stress on the process of creating neuroplastic changes.  This course will provide Chiropractors with information on the effect of subluxation and stress on neuroplasticity.

SPINAL DECOMPRESSION - Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This course will expose many of the lies and exaggerations that many of the decompression table manufacturers have been telling us. During this hour we will examine spinal decompression therapy through and objective review of the medical and chiropractic literature regarding its efficacy.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY - Credit Hours: 2Clinical

This course will review the basic principles of trigger point therapy. We will focus on the theory and application of these procedures for myofascial release. Specific muscle referred pain patterns will be demonstrated as well as treatment procedures and adjunctive stretches

UNDERSTANDING WHIPLASH PART 1 - Credit Hours: 2Clinical

This course will detail the biomechanics of low speed rear impact collisions. This includes discussions on the S shaped curve of the spine, general magnitudes of force, factors associated with increased risk of injury and the types of injuries that result from these collisions.

UNDERSTANDING WHIPLASH PART 2 - Credit Hours: 2Clinical

Part 2 of this series will focus on specific conditions and symptoms related to whiplash type injuries. Some of the conditions we will discuss include: the etiology of neck pain and headache, radiculopathy, TOS, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, post-concussive syndrome, and TMJ
